What is the charge of a neutron?

A neutron is a subatomic particle that resides in the nucleus of an atom. Unlike protons, which have a positive electric charge, and electrons, which have a negative electric charge, neutrons have a neutral electric charge. This means that neutrons are neither attracted nor repelled by electric fields.
